What about resale ?
Your property can be sold any time. In France taxes on real estate capital gains are advantageous: They are of 26% of the capital gains (33.33% for non EU resident), but after 5 years of detention, the capital gains tax is reduced by 10% per year of detention. Which means if you sell your property after 15 years of detention, the capital gains are not taxed at all.
